Q.01 // What is ManMan Vinyl Club, and how does it work?
ManMan Vinyl Club is a specialty vinyl listening café located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, designed as a quiet weekend hideout where you can slow down and focus entirely on the music. When you reserve a 90-minute session with us, you secure a dedicated listening station equipped with an Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSB turntable, HA400 amplification, and FiiO premium headphones. During your session, you can explore our curated collection of 185 records while enjoying a complimentary specialty coffee or non-coffee drink in an intimate, distraction-free environment.
Q.02 // Does ManMan Vinyl Club serve food, or can I bring my own?
We serve drinks only, featuring a menu of classic and specialty coffees (like our Orange Mocha and Strawberry Latte) alongside non-coffee options (like Matcha and Houjicha lattes). We do not serve food, and outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited. We highly recommend treating yourself to a good meal before you arrive!
Q.03 // I have never used a record player before. Can I still visit?
Absolutely! No prior vinyl experience is needed. Our staff is always happy to show you how to use the turntables. You can choose from our collection of 185 vinyl records, selecting a maximum of 2 records at a time. We simply ask that you handle the records with clean hands, hold them only by the edges or center label, and always rest them flat on the tabletop when removing them from their sleeves.
Q.04 // Is there an age limit, and what is the general etiquette in the lounge?
Yes, all guests must be aged 14 and above. Because our space is designed as a quiet pocket to float in the music, we ask that you keep your phones on silent and speak softly. You are welcome to take casual photos from your own table, but please avoid using flash or tripods so everyone can enjoy the music without distraction.
Q.05 // What happens if I am late or need to cancel my reservation?
We recommend arriving at our Bayan Lepas location 10 minutes early so you can find parking and settle in. Late arrivals will reduce your overall listening time, and guests are only seated once their entire party is present. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must provide at least 48 hours of notice via the link in your confirmation email to retain your deposit.
